This vintage coffee table is made of a rosewood ground inset with large inlaid birch plywood. It has an articulated ‘leaf’ and two Birch plywood organic oval forms. The legs are in nickel-plated steel with brass feet.

It was produced by Asko, Finland, circa 1958. The table is signed with branded manufacturer's mark on the underside: Tapio Wirkkala Asko Made in Finland.
