Certain motifs recur in Wirkkala's oeuvre, repeating themselves in different materials, and in different scales. The leaf was one of the artists favorite themes, its variations ranging from the overall shape of the leaf to interpretations in plywood, glass, porcelain, and silver.
Each of these vintage works are made of blown, ground and line-cut crystal. They are etched with the year of production in the glass.
