Laser-cut, robot-welded and high-pressure-inflated sheet copper; finishes are achieved through polishing or powder-coating the surfaces
Plopp is a collection of stools created through FiDU (Freielnnen Druck Umformung) - or 'free inner pressure deformation' - a manufacturing process developed by Polish designer and engineer Oskar Zieta, whereby flat, welded steel or copper sheets are industrially inflated. This new process allows for the creation of complex, lightweight and weight-bearing forms while using only a minimal amount of material.
