Alda lamps are unique works commissioned by Moss, New York; fewer than thirty examples were produced. Each lamp is made by hand and is unique. The lamps with chips are touch sensitive and when lightly touched will create a small symphony of sounds, each one different. The lamps with bells will jingle happily when touched. The lamps with neither are silently powerful. The Alda is named for the artist's mother.
