Limited edition of 41 numbered unique pieces.

"Eternal" is a series of forty-one acrylic blocks each containing a giant Swarovski Crystal, embedded using a complicated manufacturing process pioneered by designer Shiro Kuramata in the 1980s. The stools shown here are from a collection of twelve exhibition pieces which were unveiled in Milan during the Swarovski Crystal Palace exhibition presented during the Salone del Mobile international furniture fair, April, 2008. Only forty-one of these stools will be created, that number being Yoshioka's age when he created this work.

Three different variations exist: "Chair A" has the embedded crystal in the lower half of the stool, "Chair B" in the middle, and "Chair C" in the upper half"
