In Caillou the traditional notion of a chandelier with its myriad of small crystals is challenged by the grand scale of a solitary Swarovski crystal. An internal, battery-powered, mirrored led emits a magical, soft incandescent light.

Caillou Lights are solitaire crystals with a soft luminous presence, like an apparition in a fairy tale. As we were nourishing a certain fascination for the marvellous aspect of a shaped crystal, we decided to conceive unique stone chandeliers. Far from usual small crystals proliferation chandeliers, the light here emanates from single bigger crystals to be laid down. Their magical aspect is reinforced by their electrical autonomy due to special batteries. For the Caillou Lights can live their own lives anywhere without permanent electric wires, moving from the garden path to the dinner table - Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
