Baldele designed “Glitterbox” for the original 2002 “Crystal Palace” exhbition so that the frame would not be visible, creating an overall effect of a block of ice suspended in the air.

Georg Baldele is an Austrian born but has been a London based since his graduation from the Royal College of Art in 1998. Baldele works with industrial materials and hand working techniques to create exquisite and intricate installations and design objects. He has exhibited extensively internationally including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Saatchi Gallery.
