Tronchi is a totem of polished aluminum logs and was created by making a negative mold in sand using various pieces of wood, from which a positive mold in wax was created. The parts are then cast in aluminum from the mold, polished or burnished, and then welded together. The cabinet doors are located on the bottom section and the end of the top section.

The Tronchi Cabinet was offered in a limited edition of 8 and was exhibited at Design Miami 2008 as part of Moss' "Heavy Metal" exhibition.
