The Terra Terra collection by Italian Designer Andrea Salvetti, consists of L’Albero (Tree), a life-size shady tree comprised of over ten thousand white aluminum leaves of cast aluminum, and Nido (Nest), nest-like gold-anodized aluminum wire seats complete with three polyurethane eggs.

Andrea Salvetti writes about Terra Terra collection:

I see the trees as secure shelters, domesticated branches that provide glimpses of a different backdrop, and new nests as couches where we can curl up and rest in a sheltering shadow. Simple and elementary forms devised to ill an empty and unlived space.

Terra Terra is what I am able to tell you of the world I love, of forests, of mosses, of tree trunks and roots, of nests and dens, of those animals I see there fighting to survive in a land that is being hanged by our misguided interests. Terra Terra is what I am able to do with my hands.
