Swarovski's "Crystal Place" is a celebrated collection of commissioned works from a world class line up contemporary designers incorporating the company's famous crystal. The collection caused a splash with its debut in 2002 at the Salone del Mobile with now iconic works such as Tord Boontje's "Blossom Chandelier". While this ongoing project began with the aim of "reinventing the chandelier" it has now expanded beyond lighting.
