JORIS LAARMAN BIO
Joris Laarmen (born 1979, the Netherlands) studied at the celebrated Eindhoven Design Academy, quickly establishing his own studio in the Netherlands after his graduation in 2003. His work has been widely publicized and has been shown in numerous exhibitions worldwide since 2003. Examples of Laarman’s work can also be found in the permanent collections of several museums, including The Museum of Modern Art and the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, New York, the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Art Institute Chicago, the Centres Pompidou, Paris, the Centraal Museum, Utrecht, and the Groninger Museum, Groningen.
